THE NGORONGORO CRATER in Tanzania is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself over two million years ago. It’s 2,000 feet deep, covers 100 square miles, and is home to 25,000 large animals….and I’ll never forget the day I spent hanging out there!
