On the 1-year anniversary of the genocide against the Palestinians, I participated in the international day of action on the streets of Washington, D.C. to demand an immediate arms embargo. I also attended the annual fundraising dinner for Anera, an organization with no political or religious affiliation that is mobilizing resources (food, water, medicine, etc) for immediate emergency relief in Palestine and Lebanon.
