Keith Weinhold returns to the Maverick Show to discuss real estate investing during the pandemic.  Keith explains some of the fundamental differences between the Great Recession of 2008-2009 compared with the 2020 recession, especially as related to the real estate market.  Keith explains how current supply and demand factors are likely to impact U.S. home prices.  He then goes on to explains how inflation works, why he believes an increase in inflation is coming, and why he recommends buying ‘hard assets’ now to prepare for it.  Keith then goes on to talk about how turnkey residential investment property is the most advantageous hard asset of them all because it pays you 5 ways at the same time.  He explains how buying and holding residential investment property with a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage enables you not just to protect your wealth from inflation, but to profit from inflation.  Keith also discusses rental demand trends and why there is likely to be an increase in demand for single-family rental properties and a decrease in demand for commercial real estate, including apartment complexes.  He then gives tips on how to navigate the recent national spike in unemployment, tenant defaults, the eviction moratorium, and as well as the mortgage forbearance opportunities.  And finally, Keith names his Top 5 hip hop MCs for all time.
